YI qUAN - prInciples
The most important idea in Han Shi Yi Quan is "What is Natural? "
The idea of searching for the principle of Natural. Nature is the only truth in life. Nature is everything around us, the order of life and the interaction of all things. There is no separation from it. If one understands natural modality, then they understand their experience in the moment. This is the principle of One. Truth in the split second ,(Shun Jien). How deep into it you go depends on your focus and attention. A curious mind will keep searching, always penetrating further into the endless infinitesimal.
4 main core principles:
#1 " Zi Ran Shu Zhan " ... Natural feeling of freedom within the body , (expansive feeling.)
#2 " Zheng ti " ... Wholeness of the body, ( the whole being is involved in the movement.)
#3 " Yi xing yi yi " ... One movement one will... ,(the expression of the movement occurs at the same time as the intent.)
# 4 " Bun Lie " ... The return to the natural state of the being, (finding the origin of Nature.)
Something must be said at this point. Words are metaphors for actual experience. These principles are also just descriptors of an actual feeling state. The words come after the actual realization, not before. One must have the experience, words will not get you there.
The concept and practice of Han Shi Yi Quan involve no techniques or forms. The intent is focused on touching our "Neng Li", or Total Inate Ability. Every movement is only a typical movement and not specific. The qualities we look for in ourselves are found in the principles. These priciples describe the qualities of a feeling state and not the exterior structure.
Beyond these main core ideas many permutations exist.
The reality is not objective, but only realized in the split second of the now.
Truth occurs only in this split second of experience.
Objective is the mother of delusion, and fear.
To describe the truth is to reduce it to nonsense.
The path of man has two Naturals, one of the necessity of society and survival , the other of our pure Nature.
Nature has no reason, reason is an invention of the mind and man.
Everything happens for a reason.
Contradiction unites opposites in truth.

Ability is not the summation of all the parts.
Everything carries Wu and Yo ,( The tangible and the intangible aspects of the whole). "All things carry Yin and embrace Yang."
There is no separation of a whole thing.
Wu,(the void), precedes the now, where it comes from is unknowable.
TRUTH
Truth needs no preparation ,there is nothing therefore to prepare for.
